Survey – Personal Injury Discount Rate

FOIL has published a survey relating to category five. One option being considered by the MOJ is a heads of loss model which aims to cater for different inflationary rates for different heads of loss. Such a model would need to specify different categories of loss and identify appropriate inflationary benchmarks for assessing the discount rate for each category.
