FOIL Update on R & S Pilling v UKI
In the case of R&S Pilling v UK Insurance Ltd, the Supreme Court has held that carrying out repairs on a vehicle on private land is not 'use' of a vehicle under Section 145(3) Road Traffic Act 1988 (RTA 1998). It has, however, given little further guidance on the definition of 'use'.
