Official Injury Claim and the Whiplash Reforms Roundtable Summary

The Civil Liability Act 2018 made changes to the claims process for low-value road traffic accident (RTA) related personal injury claims, the majority of which are ‘whiplash’ claims. This included the introduction of a fixed tariff system of compensation for whiplash injuries to reflect a level proportionate to the pain and suffering incurred.
