The case centred on the capsize of the jack-up rig vessel TERAS LYZA during a tow from Vietnam to Taiwan on 5 June 2018, which resulted in a US$70 million insurance claim under a marine insurance policy issued by a consortium of insurers: Argoglobal Underwriting Asia Pacific Pte Ltd., China Taiping Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd., Great American Insurance Company, MS First Capital Insurance Limited and QBE Insurance (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
