The Product Liability SFT has commented on the Law Commissions’ Analysis of Responses to the Law Commissions’ Preliminary Consultation Paper on Automated Vehicles 19 June 2019. The Law Commission of England and Wales and the Scottish Law Commission (“the Law Commissions”) published a joint consultation on automated vehicles on 8 November 2018, the first paper in a three year review of driving laws for self-driving vehicles, which will look at issues around safety, liability and the successful promotion of automated driving.
