Developments in the treatment of cancer over recent years have significantly widened the treatment options and disease claims increasingly include a claim for innovative treatment. Whilst claims for private treatment for cancer were previously rare, new types of therapy have changed that, with significant compensation now sought for treatment and ancillary expenses.
