The President's Charity 2012 is Boot Out Breast Cancer
This is a local charity committed to fundraising and to making sure that every penny raised is spent on some much needed equipment in the NHS. Their aim is to provide equipment for as many breast cancer units in the North West as possible.

"Breast cancer accounts for something in the region of 32% of the cancer burden in the UK. Most people know someone who has been diagnosed with or have lost loved ones to this indiscriminate disease and I am no different. As with most cancers, early diagnosis can often be crucial and I was accordingly delighted to be able to nominate Boot out Breast Cancer to be the President's charity for the year, as its mission is to ensure that every penny raised goes to purchase the latest
